Every year, as part of the Sarah Lacey Nicholas Concert Series, the FWBBC Music School joins together with members of the community to present Christmas on Richland Avenue. This is a formal concert presentation which in the past has included everything from Amahl and the Night Visitors to Handel's Messiah. The community and FWBBC college family unite to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season.

Last year for the Christmas concert, the Choral Union presented a wonderful performance of Vivaldi's GLORIA under the direction of Mr. David Hahn. Mr. Hahn led the choir and orchestra in singing the GLORIA and selected anthems from the beautiful choral music of English composer, John Rutter. They did an incredible job and everyone who attended enjoyed it tremendously. Thanks to Mr. Hahn for a great job!

The Choral Union will also be working on a production for the spring. Instead of doing something in formal attire, they will doing a Broadway type musical to allow our students to engage in a broad spectrum of musical styles and traditions. Last spring the Choral Union did Roger and Hammerstein's CINDERALLA. In 2004 the Music Department presented "Annie Get Your Gun."
