The commissioning of a work guarantees first performance rights. All other rights are retained by the composer. The cost of commissioning an anthem would vary according to the individual situation. The costs would include a professionally engraved manuscript with a dedication line above the title.
Dr. Stevens is available to play concerts where he performs selections from his recent piano books and his piano CD, "Have Faith In God." Costs of a concert would include an honorarium/love offering plus expenses.
Another opportunity would be to have Dr. Stevens come in for a composer weekend where he would work with your choir on some of the anthems he has composed and lead the choir in worship. He has also done workshops for church pianists with such groups as the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Kentucky Baptist Convention.
